Today’s demanding machining operations mean more stress and wear on tooling. Finding the right coating for each application can sometimes be as demanding as the application itself. If you are machining general steels, high alloy steels, magnesium alloys, cast iron, titanium, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, plastics, graphite, etc., chances are there is a PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating that can increase your tool life. Among the many coatings available are TiN, TiALN, TiCN, CBC (carbon based coating), ALTiN, Fire-X (multi-layer TiALN), CrN, ZrN, diamond crystalline and Moly (lubricity coating). You give us the application, we will take it from there.

The vast majority of your tooling that we or anyone else manufactures can be resharpened to “like new” condition on our state-of-the-art CNC computerized tool and cutter grinders at a fraction of a new tool’s cost.
